I am Certified Arborist Dan Griffin. Started Arbor Advantage in 2016 with the goal of providing top notch care for trees especially in the realm of insect and disease control. Grew up in Iowa City and reside currently in Cedar Rapids. I service Cedar Rapids, Iowa City and the surrounding area. I love observing trees and I am always looking to learn new things about them. I have several years of experience in tree work and landscape maintenance and love taking care of trees. I am committed not only to health of the trees at hand but the objectives of the customer as well, performing all services with honesty and fairness.

What is a tree injection?

I apply product to the tree using the Arbor-Jet system. This is a micro-infusion trunk injection system. Small holes are drilled at the root flare of the tree where plastic plugs are inserted just below the bark. Needles that attach to tubes that go back to a tank the product to be applied are inserted into the plugs. Then the product is pumped into the tree.

For Injections/sprays the price is determined by diameter/size of the tree. For Cable and brace the price is determined by the amount of time and materials involved. Estimates for cost are always free.
